Admission for Slough Grammar Schools
For Admissions into Year 7 at Slough Grammar Schools pupils can secure their place based upon their performance in the 11 Plus exam. Slough Grammar Schools host regular open evenings for Parents and Students where they provide more information about their admission process including taking a tour of their facilities and meeting the staff.
Parents have to register their children ahead of their 11 Plus exams.
How to Register?
Parents must register their child with the Slough Grammar Consortium before the registration closing date which is October for Slough Grammar Schools. Next, parents must complete the Common Application Form from the Slough Borough Council Website. This must be done before June.
Exam Format
Slough Grammar Schools, part of the Slough Consortium, have an 11 Plus exam consisting of two papers. Each paper is 60 minutes long and tests a pupil’s English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning skills. Results are published in mid-October, and Year 7 places are allocated in March.
